Gold and Gambling items. Here is a grouping
of old poker and or gaming chips along with some spectacular gold and
gold quarts jewelry (cufflinks, pendants, watch fob) mostly from circa
1870. The gold quartz heart is likely a recent item. This is not a
single lot, I will sell each item seperately. The chips are priced from
$50 to $110 and the gold quartz jewellry is priced from $500 to $1,500.

Chas P Shipley:
 |
|
|
Chas P Shipley extremely rare tooled
leather horse feed bucket. Makers mark on onside bottom. This is a rare
piece by the famous bit, spur and leather harness maker from Kansas
City, MO. It has wonderful tooling on outside and also an extra large
makers mark stamp on the inside bottom. The stitching holding the inside
integral with the walls has come apart, therefore the two pieces will
come apart. Other than that in great shape. Easy to repair I will leave
that to the prospective buyer. $499. Or make me a fair offer! Priced to
sell quick. |

Powder Can:
 |
|
|
Here you have a nice conditioned about 1
lb size powder can with nice graphics of a falling duck. It is CIL which
stands for Canadian Industries Limited and has that graphic on the back
along with.... Exlosives Division Montreal, Canada. There is a nice
falling duck on front with good color and wording "Black Sporting
Powder, Snap Shot". Overall decent shape for its age it does have a
slight cant while sitting upright but no discernable dents or other
condition issues that detract. Overall a nice solid can with good
graphics. It is about 6" high by 4" wide. $299.00 |

Teddie Weahkee?:
 |
|
Here
are two Zuni fetishes that could have possibly been made Teddie Weahkee! I am
selling them separate. One is the oldest made out of Malachite (the green stone)
that I have ever seen (ca 1940's); I believe that it could be a bear. It has
coral, shell, and turquoise beads along with a stylized turquoise arrowhead. It
also has a leather or sinew wrap in the classic style. This one is a must have
for any collector of early fetishes if you don’t have an early example of
malachite. Overall it is very pleasing with a nice old patina. $950.00 or make
me an offer.
The bottom fetish in the photo is likely a fox or wolf it has turquoise inset
eyes and a leather/sinew wrap with turquoise arrowhead. This one is made out of
either jet or possibly rocky mountain jade. Also a very nice pleasing fetish. I
acquired both of these fetishes from an old time collector that had discovered
them in a Colorado antique shop over 35 years ago. $775.00 |

Gold Nugget:
 |
|
I
bought this when gold was much lower. It came in a box that showed the figures
for weighing it in water (displacement) and dry. I have not personally done this
procedure but believe the figures. There is just over 1 oz. of gold in the
nugget 1 1/6 to be exact. Again I am going solely on the notes on the inside box
lid. So you will have to be the judge and all are welcome to meet me at a show
or come view the nugget in person. Often large nuggets are priced over spot as
they are hard to find. This one here also is likely California gold which adds
to its value. Overall it is a very pleasing specimen. $1,950.00.
